of the Festival
Every Saturday during the Festival, 45 minutes of in-depth discussions and insights with the artists of the Festival and guest speakers.
Saturday 5 July: music critic and former singer Renaud Machart will be presenting his book Les Baroqueux, a highly personal perspective on the great moments of the Baroque revival in the 20th century.
Saturday 12 July: Thibault Noally, violinist and conductor, and Xavier Carrère, journalist for France Musique and a specialist in Scarlatti’s work, will be sharing their passion for the composer of Il Primo Omicidio and Stabat Mater.
Saturday 19 July: to coincide with the Rameau weekend, Reinoud Van Mechelen, singer and conductor, and Thomas Soury, lecturer at Lyon-II University.
Saturday 26 July: How can Renaissance music be heard today? Conductor Lila Hajosi will be talking to Isabelle Ragnard, lecturer at Sorbonne University and a specialist in Renaissance music.

Musical guided tours
Led by a guide and a lyric singer, discover a thousand years of history, heritage and music! From the Basilique Notre-Dame to the Hôtel des Ducs de Bourgogne, explore emblematic or little-known sites – including some that are usually closed to the public – and be surprised at every corner by this two-voice tour.
