L’Olimpiade, Il Trionfo del Tempo e del Disinganno : cast changes

There will be some changes to the casts of the 2026 Beaune Festival.

Haendel’s Il Trionfo del Tempo e del Disinganno, Saturday 11 July:

Thomas Hobbs has withdrawn from the production. The role of Tempo will be performed by the British tenor Stuart Jackson, who is appearing in Beaune for the first time.

Pergolesi’s L’Olimpiade, Saturday 18 July:

Josè Maria Lo Monaco has withdrawn from the production. The role of Licida will be sung by the Italian mezzo-soprano Anna Bonitatibus. This is Anna Bonitatibus’s second appearance in Beaune: she sang the same role in Pergolesi’s L’Olimpiade under the direction of Ottavio Dantone in 2003.
